ABOUT

SCOTSTOUN EAGLES SQUASH CLUB

WHO ARE WE?

The Scotstoun Eagles started in 2014 as a squash club, operating out of Scotstoun Leisure Centre in Glasgow.  It is a registered Charity (SCIO) with OSCR since 2018,  the charitable aims are the advancement of the sport of squash.

Scotstoun Eagles are a Community Club, we look to draw our membership from local schools and the surrounding area. We operate in a positive manner encouraging and developing participants and members to improve their personal squash and achieve their goals.

The club is focussed on participation; however, we do value and encourage performance. This is driven by player development through our coaching and training sessions and operates at all levels. We bring players through from beginner to international standard, however an individual’s aims and expectations will steer this journey.

Experienced players joining our club are very welcome and will be valuable additions to our squash community. We love to see our experienced players contributing to the club and giving back from their experience in coaching or supporting the teams.

Both participation and performance are equally important helping the club in terms of numbers and recognition.

Team selection is open, transparent, and fair, with Players being placed in a team based on ladder results. The inclusion of a professional in our teams may occur, but only if this is deemed to be of benefit to our members and the squash community we serve.

Success is earned, not given, our currency in this is effort and commitment.
