Men’s Beginner Session (Tuesday 7:00 – 8:00 pm)
Fancy trying out squash for the first time or just been playing with friends and want to improve your game? This is the session for you. This session will help you improve your technical skills from the beginning giving you a good foundation to get into the sport (or help you beat your friend who is always winning!). No need to book just turn up at Scotstoun and mention the squash beginners session.

Cost: £4 per person

Women’s Beginner Session (Tuesday 8:00 – 9:00 pm)
If you have never played squash before and would like to give the sport a try then come along for 8pm every Tuesday. You don’t need to book in just turn up to Scotstoun on the night and pay in at the door.

Cost: £4 per person

Intermediate Training Sessions (Friday & Sunday 6:00 – 7:30 pm)

Designed to cater for the needs of intermediate/ Advanced players. Supervised by Head Coach Martin Woods, this session works on themes to to improve performance in Team and Competitive situations.

Cost: £5 for Squash members & £8 Non-Members

Advanced Team Training Session (Sunday 4:00 – 5:30 pm)
A session specifically designed for intermediate level and above. This session is ideal for players who play in division 1 of the West of Scotland leagues, those that would like to play there, or players with higher aspirations!

Led by Martin Woods, this coach-led session is open to both members and non-members, and focuses on tactical decision-making drills to help you make that right shot choice when playing matches!

Cost: £5 for Squash members & £8 Non-Members


Open Club Night (Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 pm)
We have a adult social squash night ideal for beginner or intermediate players to come along to. Supervised by a fully qualified coach, it’s a great way to improve your squash while meeting other new people to play.
Cost: FREE to Squash members & £6 Non-Members

Team Match Practice (Saturday 1:00 – 3:00 pm)
We also run a matchplay session for players who play in the West of Scotland Leagues. Ideal for meeting players within the club or just getting game practice against other players of a similar standard.

In Scotstoun Squash Club we start our junior development path into with PlaySquash, a session designed to give a little coaching but a lot of game play. As players progress and want to take their squash further, we have a variety of custom coaching classes to help develop the skills for playing in Junior Team matches or competitions.

star Fundamentals (5 – 8 yrs)

Mini Squash is a class specifically designed for younger and new kids to squash and will introduce them to basic hand-eye coordination, racket and movement skills needed to play squash, with a huge emphasis on having fun and just “bashing a ball against a wall”.

star Youth (9 – 13 yrs)

These classes are designed with an emphasis on actually playing squash, with a ladder system to give the players the motivation to try and improve.

star Intermediate (14 – 18 yrs)

Designed for players in secondary that are physically stronger than those in primary school to make the jump up into playing adults.
